Oral or Vaginal; Which is more intimate?

Age old question. I've blogged about it before, here and in another forum. Yet I have been thinking the same thought over and over again the past week or so. And I'm wondering how you feel about this subject. Like me, do you have conflicting thoughts?

I find vaginal intercourse to be the most intimate emotional experience I can have with a man, especially if it is face to face and he is looking me in the eye. Maintains the look and adjusts his actions in response to the look on my face.

That said, and there is yet another feeling I have about oral being more intimate. When emotionality is not at play and the sex is more about the physical act of providing carnal pleasure, then I physically find spread my legs open and exposing my orchid to a lovers view to be far more intimate.

This conflicting opinion has always amazed me. What would be the most intimate for you to have a lover do to you? Which is more intimate for you to provide? I wonder if males and females feel differently by gender, or if it is just individual preference?
