Escaping
Escaping Thinking of a bloody hot day and Blue Mountain Reservation; and a special someone "Don't count the days, make the days count" |

I've never been there but heard that it is very nice

Never? Never ever? My first time, well we weren't laying down, just sitting on a log in a wooded area behind my high school. My right side of my body was against his left side. We had been talking about our futures; hopes and dreams. Then the conversation stopped and we just sat together listening to the bird and leaves rustling. It's been 37 1/2 years, yet I can feel the warm Autumn sun, smell the decaying Fall leaves, and feel him against me. He broke the silence by telling me he'd never sat so long with someone without talking. We had been on that log for several hours. "Don't count the days, make the days count"

Me neither, although I lived 25 minutes from there. We had our own places to go. Some are off limits today, because of Home Land Security and all

I misunderstood. I thought never2busy had never been there, meaning the state of mind of blocking out the entire world when with one other person. My "Blue Mountain Reservation" is a Westchester County park in Peekskill. In 2005, on a bloody hot afternoon, I packed a picnic lunch for two and met my lover for a little respite from the world. We laid in the grass (well, on a blanket on the grass)similarly to the couple in the picture (except we were more touchy feely). "Don't count the days, make the days count"

I hope we all have a place in our heads, with someone special that we can relate to that.
