HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just wanted to take a second to wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Today, I'm celebrating Christmas with my husband's family. I have a roast in the oven and a lasagne ready to go in. I'll make all the trimmings in the next few hours. Although people rarely touch them.

My husband is out and about getting desserts. Those always go! Someday, I'm going to put aside some of my favorites for the day after.

Tonight, we're going to my friend's house. She's having a small house party. Knowing her, that may mean a hundred or more people venturing in and out throughout the night.

We're nothing alike. She's a gregarious prude, and I'm a shy sensualist. But then, she probably thinks I'm a prude, so maybe she's a discreet sensualist. One can never be certain about others.
