Body Art
Body Art I was just looking at celebrity body art. Some of it was quite beautiful, some of it was rather sloppy. All of it though, required some pain and risk to get there. So, it makes me wonder.... We fall into four categories when it comes to body art: A- People with it that cherish it. B- People with it that regret getting it. C- People without it that wish they had it. D- People without it that are happy not having it. Which category do you fall into? Do you ever think about getting body art? What body art do you have? What body art would you like to have? If you have a tattoo, why did you get it? If you don't have a tattoo, why not? What is the best looking tattoo you ever saw? What was the worst looking tattoo you ever saw? I fall into category C, which in my case stands for "C"hicken. I have thought about getting a small delicate tattoo for many years (decades in fact). I'd like a feminine little flower, butterfly, or a celtic symbol. I don't want it in black, green or red. A friend of mine has several in the most vivid colors I have seen in tattoo art. His celtic star is the best work I have personally seen. The worst, well, I hate Angelina Jolie's list of birth information of her kids. I've worn temporary tattooes a couple of times in the past. Someplace here on my desk, piled high with little things, with no home to call their own, I have a book of floral tattoo transfers. I've worn them on my ankle. They're soft, feminine, and oh yeah sexy. I don't know why it's sexy, it's a flower.... What do you think? Why do we fine body art sexy? "Don't count the days, make the days count"

I like body art on women; not so much on men. Though I note in George Clooney's recent ad for his film, he has a tattoo on his back between his shoulder blades which is attractive. Women it seems can pull off a colorful flower, or dragon, or whatever and makes them sexier. What seems to happen to people, they get carried away with body art and end up with murky shape and coloring; something is lost.

I saw a show on body art, in which the man highlighted was in pursuit of covering his entire body with ink. Definitely over doing it! "Don't count the days, make the days count"

I do not care for tatoo's. it may look sexy now but as u get older it looks silly,I have seen sevsral seniors with there arms totaly done & they wish they never did it!!But a little flower on your butt would be sexy "FOREVER" It's a reason that I figure a tatoo on a non-fleshy part like my ankle would be safe. How many people get saggy ankles when they age? LOL, it might be a great thing that I'm totally chicken. And, I'm glad that both of my kids are total pain wimps. They do their best to "make me strong", but neither one of them will ever surprise me with a tattoo. I hope those aren't famous last words! "Don't count the days, make the days count"
