 You know, when I read your blog title, the FIRST thing that pops into my head is the Carly Simon song. I forgot about the Heinz 57 commercial though.

This is something I had been thinking of but didn't quite put my finger on. Sometimes, I wonder what happened to me when I'm the only one in the room who is not excited while everyone is jumping for joy. Sometimes, I feel like the unmotivated actor in the movie of my life. There are still times when I feel like I'm just going through the motions and playing my part well enough not to get noticed by the director.
But it does get better.

I'm not living in that depressive hole anymore, but it's difficult to come out as the same person you were before you crawled into that hole.
