Seems every goes through that stage in his life where all he can manage to do is to get into trouble. Right now, my 's biggest thing is his lack of respect and lying. Little lies and big ones. Even when telling the truth would get him into less trouble, he would still not tell the truth.

His big excuse was he was afraid he would disappoint us. Well telling a lie only make that point worse. Well tonight, the poor did mange to get himself into trouble again but that isn't what I'm here to talk about tonight.

Tonight, he comes up to me as asks me to come see while I'm getting dressed to go walking. So I finish getting dressed and he walks me downstairs to the kitchen. He is all proud of himself too. As he walks into the kitchen, he slips and almost falls down slipping into milk. The saw me use a Yogurt maker twice now and thought he knew what he was doing. He took a packet of Vanilla Ice cream mix, poured it into the machine and then took the milk using a measuring up and poured it into the mixer as well. What he failed to do was put the freezer bucket that sits in the freezer!

Milk and powder was everywhere. It was a mess. He first says, he didn't make that mess! I started to fuss and yell but in reality, you can't be mad at the . It was sort of funny. Just not the clean up part. I think most of us have done that or something similar in the kitchen as . So here is one more to add to the book of adventures.

I really do cherish these moments. I am trying to also stay more focused and not fuss at him all the time. He really just wants dad's approval so it's time I gave it to him more often.

We never had fish for some reason when I was a kid. We always had dogs and cats. I think the worst I did but never got caught for was having a grease fire in the kitchen. If I were my parents, I would have beaten me for the simple reason that the house was too clean when they returned!

Eventually he will learn. I know it is something he must go through but he sure will be miserable when he gets caught

He leaves for camp today but I'll have to make time to make ice cream with him next time. Good to see you!
