Vacation

Well it was supposed to be a total bust today. Rain fell upon us last night and this morning. Honestly, I was kind of glad to see it as I haven't seen rain in so long. Sure enough, the rain cleared and the sun came out. SO it was off to the beach again.

Ike took away our beach house and I knew I'd miss it but never as much as I actually do. Staying across the street from the beach. The place we are staying is actually at the beach. The view out the front windows is beautiful and green. The waves have not calmed down this week so far so the water is not as clear as it is capable of being. When the water gets calm, you can stand in the water and see your feet. The sand is white and for the most part is clean.

For the most part, we have all gotten along and hvae really enjoyed ourselves. It's hard to believe how fast the time is passing. Even the temperatures have cooled down below 100 so you can even step outside without the air being sucked from your lungs. It is supposed to rain the rest of the week but I don't think any of us really care. We will take whatever comes our way.

Nope.. No Texas for us. We are in Alabama. We hvae a guest staying at the house taking care of the cats. Too bad they just wouldn't run away and find a new home while we are gone.
