Just checking in

Well it's been a couple of busy days. I've only a couple of minutes here and there to even log in lately. Life seems to be keeping me rather busy at the moment and it's all good so I don't mind.

Today I managed to buy the first Christmas Presents and stocking stuffers. This is normally not my area of expertise. I usually let the wife do the Christmas shopping as she can do most of it in a day or two. She will spend all day shopping and thankfully she leaves me home for all of it! Yes she makes me get to for some of the shopping for certain people but she knows better than to let me loose to spend money.

Tomorrow is Friday thankfully. I'm ready for this week to end. Next week will be pretty busy too but I'm looking forward to it. It makes the week pass faster. When I started this message, I had something distinct I wanted to say but I got totally sidetracked and have NO Idea what it was I was going to say. So with that, I'll say I hope each of you had a great day and will have an even better weekend!

My wife doesn't know what it means to have a SMALL Christmas. I've known it all growing up both as a kid and an adult. I'm not worried about money for Christmas. At least nit as far as presents are concerned. Christmas is far more than presents around a tree.

As for jumping out of a plane... I had that opportunity years ago. There was this cute girl I knew up in NJ that jumped and was working towards her license to be an instructor. She tried her best to get me to jump from a plane but I never did. Honestly, I think it came down to she wanted a bit more from me than I was prepared to offer at the time since I was with someone. So I always kept my distance.
