I chose to use the lyrics of this song as a blog post for a few reasons. I heard Feist's voice for the first time on an ipod commercial. The first time I saw the commercial, her voice hit me deep inside. The second time I saw the commercial and heard her voice, I had to find out who she was and what cd that song was on. I bought the cd and it became what my ex and I listened to in our cars more than anyting else. Her voice goes inside of me and hugs me tight all over. Most of the songs, with her singing them, were so soothing that they made me turn into a big pile of love. I bought the cd 4 more times just to support her and I give them away to females I cared about. My ex and I went through I pretty bad break up that left me pretty devistated. Needless to say, I wanted no part of hearing Feist's voice. I did a good job avoiding her too, until that damn hip Dierberg's I go to play it while I was there. That was not a good shopping visit. I went another long while withou hearing any of the songs...until TV Land (of all the channels) started using the very song in one of their commercial. Instant channel change when ever that happened. It wasn't until I came home from 'My Journey' that I was able to sit in the bath and listen to the cd again. All the way through, twice. 'I Feel it All' is a way to describe me. I knew it already, but it was highlighted for me during 'My Journey'. I felt everything and everybody. When riding in the car, I felt the other cars, the trees, the moutains. I felt every thing. And just as important, alot of people felt me. The people I was introduced to, the animals I hung with, the strangers who looked longer than most people would stare at a stranger. I really think that felt my renewed energy. I was a wonderful thing. I dont expect all of you who will read this to go out and by "The Reminder", but at least go to one of the listening places and hear her sing these words. Her voice is one of a kind.

She does have an amazing voice... I'm acutally going to buy the cd now. Isn't it interesting the different twist you get on a song when you read the lyrics and think about them. And thank you... wanderingkiss In All My Galore...

The picture attached to this post is me getting to stand outside for the first time in my life and see moutains. It was somewhere in Oregon, and yes, I felt everything as I stood there. It was amazing, all except for the dog poop off to the side.

Bubbles if I had seen the commercial with the mute button on, I probably would have never found her music. Lol. I still havent gone back to listen to any of her old stuff yet, the emotion tied up in this one C.D. is enough to handle right now. I'm one of those people who knows the words to all the songs I like and love. If I dont know them just from listening, I go find them.Its baffling and funny when people hear a song a million times and dont know what's being said in it. Even funnier when they sing the wrong words.
