WHY SAINT GEORGE SLAYED THE DRAGON

WHY SAINT GEORGE SLAYED THE DRAGON

It's St George's Day. Saint George, who died on 23 April 303, was a soldier in the Roman army. He became one of most venerated saints in Christianity.

Born into a Greek Christian family, he served as an imperial guard to Emperor Diocletian in Nicomedia, an imperial city located in what is now Turkey. In 302 AD, the Emperor ordered that all Christian soldiers in Nicomedia should be arrested. George objected to this imperial order and publicly affirmed his Christian faith. Diocletian had George executed by decapitation.

Above is the Saint George Killing The Dragon painting of the Catalan artist, Bernat Martorell, in the 1430s. It’s often assumed that the dragon represents Satan and the woman is the wife of Diocletian. The legend of Saint George slaying the dragon came about during the Crusades of the 10th to 15th centuries. The legend helped to sustain the holy power of the Christian Crusaders over the Muslim Saracens of the Byzantine Empire.

There is much historical argument about the life of Saint George, whether he existed, who he was, what he did, where he went and when he died. But, for the first time, I can now reveal why Saint George slayed the dragon. It’s because the dragon was fucking his car!

I enjoy doing genealogy and then linking world history with the family era I'm researching.

If dragons like to fuck tailpipes, it's no wonder they're extinct!

Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

The name George is derived from the Greek name, Geōrgios.
I guess there no donkeys around for the dragon to fuck.

I do enjoy learning about history... Problem is that once having done so, I often draw my own conclusions whereas most people absorb it uncritically and just say it is what it is. I don't try to rewrite it, simply analyse it on a deeper level.

I have found 20th Century history the most fascinating but enjoy ancient Greek and Roman history for their complex social structures.
History is always contested and revised; as they say, history is first written by the victors.
I enjoy twenthieth century history and also nineteenth century history as a lot happened politically then.

I've tried imagining a dragon fuck a truck. I think a truck would be much better than a car for the dragon to fuck!

The clip is good. You can even see the dragon's cock thrusting inside the car!

You can even see the dragon's cock going into the car! It is a VW or, rather, it was a VW after the dragon has finished with the car!

Like you, I find history fascinating. Some people get too fixated with dates. I got put off learning history at school because it was often about memorising dates.
