Got my electricity bill the other day. Gee thanks so close to Christmas.

I'd received a Post Office Visa card off a friend for Christmas, so being a bit short of money, I decided to put it towards paying the bill.

I called into the local PO to pay the bill. I handed the bill to the guy saying I wanted to pay part of it using the PO Visa card. He looked at the card and said it was a gift card. Yes I said, again he said it was a gift card. Yes, I want to use it to pay part of the bill.

Then he said that I couldn't use it because it was a gift card and I wasn't buying a gift. I stood there in total disbelief to his stupidity. I looked at the woman next to him and mouthed FFS, can you please help?

Seems like he was more of a DH than I thought he was. She said..... he won't ask me for help, so off he went to ask someone else.

At last, someone came to help and showed the idiot what to do. I know he's not a new worker, as I've seen him there before.

I wonder if he knows how to sell stamps.

 Some gift cards do have restrictions on what you can purchase, maybe that's what confused him.

It was an Australian Post Visa gift card. That's one he should have known as I was using it in a Post Office.
