My blog procrastination is brought to you by .... THE BIG BANG THEORY.

Yup! A TV show has suddenly turned my lack of updating (along w/my sledge hockey season) into procrastination. And as someone who isn't really that much of a fan of current TV shows, I think I have found one I absolutely adore.

Why do I like the show so much? There's something about the humor, and in particular nerd humor, that I can relate to. Most of the dialog circulates around comic books, Star Trek, board/card/computer games or just banal other things. I also tend to think it's characters that I can especially relate to. How many of us have not known a Raj,Leonard (played by Johnny Galecki who also played the role of Russell "Rusty" Griswold in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation),Penny or better yet a 'know it all' like Sheldon?

Ever since I was introduced to the show by a team mate (and the gal I wrote about a couple entries back) I have just become hooked. What started out as just a single episode viewing has turned into not missing a single episode every week.

Yep - I am hooked.

Mind you though I have almost caught up thanks to being able to view the first to third seasons in just a couple of weeks.

I swear, this is the most TV I have watched in ... wow ... years!

Are there any Big Bang Theory fans out there in VisionPersonals.com "Blog Land"?

And if so, who is your favorite character and why?

 Love, love, love Big Bang. Never miss it at our house!

I especially love (because I'm just a big nerd, too) that they named the 2 main characters after the great Sheldon Leonard. Sheldon Leonard & Danny Thomas pretty much defined the Sitcom.

Sheldon is my favorite, maybe because he's a Texas boy in real life & on the show, so the accent is real (unlike the hideous Southern Belle drawl his sister was using.)
