What the F&CK just happened?

Been on vacation and worked hard at relaxation.

I stopped watching the news

I continued to eat right

I worked out and exercised

I listened to Pandora

Watched the Dodger game last night

Took all my vitamins and medications

And then.....

Well, last night happened!

I finished my workout, took a shower, packed my lunch, went downstairs to get the ice pack from the freezer (For the lunch pale) and a wave of fogginess hits me. I reach back for the counter but never made it!
Passed out
When I came too I had pulverized the dishwasher. Put it out of its misery using my head as a battering ram as my body collapsed to the floor.
My head must have hit pretty hard because it is very sour today.

So, what brought on this "fainting" spell?
LOW BLOOD PRESSURE

You kidding me?
My blood pressure medication has been reduced to the point that I have to cut the smallest dose in half!

So I guess I need to raise my blood pressure again!

I will go drive some good LA Traffic while listening to talk radio

Watch the news when I get home

Get into an argument with my ex

Any other suggestions to raise my blood pressure?

Never mind, I will listen to my doctor for a change and drink plenty of fluids when I work out... That might actually work

Does anyone have a spare dish washer?

Been there and done that too, but unfortunately I didn't come out as
well, two fractured collarbones, and months later began not being able
to breathe properly and after many tests and scans, DR found check was
full of blood clots, so the hospital for all that blood thinner and
meds, even given a bucket of it when I did come home. Still having
some rough breathing problems, but getting better.

My point, any little thing since then that makes you feel bad or can't
breathe find you a great Pulmonary DR and be checked thoroughly. AND
I am told by my DR that not all cat scans will reveal the problems,
since the ones the local hospital revealed nothing any of the times
they performed them, it had to be a specialized program on the scanner
that found my problem. In fact she said one more day finding nothing
and they would not have had to worry about doing more tests, except
for an autopsy. Heed any warning if you have any further problems.
Best of luck too you.

49, Damn. You try to live right and just look what happens! Low blood pressure is just as dangerous as high blood pressure. Make sure you get your electrolytes as well as staying hydrated. I faint often due to low blood pressure. It's not fun. Take care of YOU!

I hope your head is ok. So much for resting and relaxing. Geeze! You are definitely a Californian. I hope the meds can sort this out quickly...Try a used appliance store for a dishwasher...sometimes Habitat For Humanity Restore has them from a house remodel. Hugs.

There is a difference between a good BJ and a bad BJ.

That is something to set off alarm bells for you, Ed. There have been so many changes in your life and body (the loss of 65 pounds is no small thing!). recently --not to mention the end of your drinking--that your body is probably just trying to adjust to being healthy.. HOPEFULLY that's all it was.. xoxo david
