Where is my CLEAR button?

Where is my CLEAR button?

My vacation is almost over and I have unwound in spurts only to be re wound by external forces that refuse to accept that I want to check out right mow.

Last week it was my dad. He ended up in the hospital... His Alzheimer's is getting worse

This week it started with work... Customers that want to deal with me and no one else... Commission salesman's curse

Yesterday another work related call...

Think I need to get a separate phone for personal calls (My mom and brother's and sisters, etc) so I can turn this contraption off when I need time off.

In the mean time, can someone please tell me where my clear button is located?
I mean surly we have to have one right?
Our creator in its infinite wisdom surely gave us a clear button, I just can't seem to locate it.

In my drinking days I tried to drown it and short circuit it but that did not work either.

So.. What , or where, is my clear button

Is SEX my clear button

Should I just go find a willing partner and get laid?
Is that what god intended sex to be beyond procreation?
A clear button?
A reset button?
Can someone please push my button so I can Re set my vacation?

Hi, so sorry to hear about your dad. Work is stressful or it would not be work LOL No really though I had a bad work day myself and so did my man. I do think sex is a great way to unwind. That is what my man and I do to relax. I wish we all came with a reset button for sure cause I would push mine a lot and my man would his too.
First off tganks for stopping by and thanks for the kind words.
And yes, your man is very lucky to have you.
And from the sounds of it you are lucky to have him

49plus20, Sighs. I am sorry you are having a stressful vacation. They are not meant to be that way. But whenever I took one, I was always glad to get back to my work and my routine. Guess that was just more comfortable for me.

Alzheimer's is a tough disease - my Mom has it as well. Very sad. All you can do is be there for him when you can.

Clear button? Now, that is a hard one. I don't have one either. If I did, I wouldn't be up at all hours writing, reading and responding to blogs. But, It does give me something to do. All I can suggest is to go to your "quiet place", do some deep breathing and try to relax the best you can.

hugs,
Voice

Vacation is not going to last forever, you need that time
'To Recharge', so take full advantage of what is left.

Cell phone off, surely there is another member of the family
who can help deal with 'emergencies' and would know how to get
up with you through by way of your child's phone. That way you
cut off the work calls till you get back and available for work.

TV has always been my clear button. I love to get lost in someone else's life for an hour or so. And now that I'm so behind on my recordings, I can get lost for an entire weekend while watching an entire season. I kinda like it!

Swim...Bike...Done

Life just won't quit calling long distance! I've been retired for so long that those work related problems are almost a forgotten thing to me.

I've always used meditation to clear my mind. Stress in our life is a real killer, and it's a hard one to be able to "clear". xoxo david

I just spent three hours by myself fishing in tbe high sierras unde a moonlit sky
Fish were mot biting so it was just me and nature.
Feel quite a bit rejuvinated
Thanks david

you have to clear it by shutting down/off the things that are bringing up the stress, at least minimize it; there are things that you can't do anything about, things that aren't time sensitive {tho vacations usually are} and in the end if you wear yourself out by doing what others could do but aren't for whatever reason, you have to remember that at some point it is literally going to wear you OUT, so then {if you don't take action now to stop at least the worse of the things} you are not going to be able to do ANYthing...it's called the Art of Selfishness, and just hearing the words put some people off, but there is only so much at any given time that we can do, or only so much that we can do for a certain amount of time, before we 'break' and can't do anything at all, so you do have to practice the Art of Selfishness {there is a book out on it, been out a while, and pretty sure that is the title, will look in my bookcases and see if I still have a copy, don't think it's still available to buy, and print parts on my blog}
