It amazes me that a dumb arse like me can repair my on pc softweare,but the experts on this site can't fix any problems with the site

 They need new, or additional, testers!! It's all about the quality of the testing team, as well as how the developers adopt and implement the feedback received. (also whether the testers get to retest the final product before the upgrade is release, of course)

I'd volunteer, however, I don't utilise nearly enough features on the site in order to add any kind of valuable contribution.
