MEDITATE FOR SEX
MEDITATE FOR SEX MEDITATE FOR SEX Meditation for many people is a way of life. For other people it's something so far out of their normal routine, so "weird", so Hollywood fruit and nutsy, that they'd rather be homeless and caught pushing a shopping cart filled with their possessions down the main street in their town then even give it--"weird meditation"-- a try. Okay! That's cool. Nobody is going to force you to sit in some quiet corner in the lotus position whispering a mantra. But...just in case you're one of the adventurers of life, and like to try new things (even though meditating is not new), there are hundreds of books on the subject, and a lot of information on the Web if you Google the subject on your computer. You've already guessed I'm gonna' tell you I've been meditating for most of my life, haven't you? It's true, I have, and I highly recommend it for creating a positive stream of consciousness around you. In my case, probably because I've always been oriented toward sexuality, I believe meditation has also hooked me up with like-minded people. Can I prove it? No. Neuro-physicists have recently found there are portions of our human brain that seem to reflect the crazy weirdness found in the study of Quantum Mechanics. Things like particle entanglements, and some of the strange happenings in Para-psychology, seem to be caused by this Quantum cluster of stimulated brain cells in our brains. All you need to do in order to try some of this stuff for yourself, is to sit or lay quietly in a place where there are no distractions, no noise, nothing to disturb you, and calm your mind, concentrate on inhaling and exhaling, and let your mind go where it wants to go. This blog is not the proper platform to go deeply into all the various ways to meditate. All I wanted to do here was to perhaps put a little itch in your brainwork that would make you want to scratch it to see what would happen. Meanwhile, this summer I'm at work building a steel meditation chamber. I traded a guy out here on the desert, a couple of wheels and tires for this old empty septic tank (shown below). The tank had never been used as a septic tank, it was only used to store clean water until it developed a few small holes. I've cut a door in the tank and now I'm cleaning out the rust, and will paint the tank inside and out with white paint. I plan on building a simple plywood bedframe inside the tank, putting in a comfortable lounge mattress, putting on a hinged door, and getting the tank up off the ground by about two feet. There's plenty of room inside for me to stretch out, and I'm thinking that the steel will block out a lot of meandering waves filling our atmosphere, and help to bounce back a lot of my brain's crapola, increasing the effect of my meditation.. What the heck? I'm always building things, and this is a fun project... Who knows, it may even be effective.. by david stardust, Monday morning, May 5th, 2014... |

I understand you completely, Cathy... When you're making a living and keeping a house up, it's not like an old retired guy like me who has time to do all this crazy stuff.. Perhaps in the future you'll have more peace of mind, and more leisure? Hopefully? love, david

Better trade for an Air Conditioning system Good luck Window A/C's are better and cheaper than ever, but the work of taking out the old one and putting in the new is a chore. I've build a double roof and enclosed porches all around, so it stays quite cool without using a lot of energy. My place has 3 window AC's and a couple of water coolers, so we've always been able to handle the 110 plus temps out here... Take care my friend, and don't work too hard..Affectionately, david

with the heat of your summer days you will die in there so my guess is any meditation your going to do in there, will be very early mornings or very late at night....... I haven't decided where I'm going to "park" the chamber when it's finished, but I'll probably put it in the shade created by my house. It's large enough for two people to snuggle up together, but I don't know if I'll be able to get M. to lounge in there with me or not.. lol.. Marisol just shakes her head at me when I start on one of these crazy projects of . Thanks for your comment, little silky one... david

Thanks, Kinkyfem. Well of course you don't need the metal thingy I'm building. Daily meditation really does help to guide your subconscious into a path suited to your personality and needs. I hope you give it a try and that it works for you...hugs, david

I've always wanted to try it and finally attended a meditation workshop at a studio here late last year. It was....refreshing. But I find my mind wanders all the time. And it does take practice. That metal shelter's a bit too much for me. For now. But yea, will give it a go again. Normal meditation doesn't require this metal chamber..I know that some people have trouble getting down into the deeper relaxation where you become one with your surroundings, but I think if you practice for a few weeks you'll keep getting better and better at it. I'm sure the workshop you went to gave you much more information than I could provide in this little blog post... Thanks for reading my blog and posting your comment, and good luck with the meditation.. david
