Scammy, scammy, scammers

No I'm not talking about good ol' VisionPersonals.com. I'm talking about those guys (and sometimes women) who call claiming to be from "Windows technical support." I got two calls from them just today. I go through phases where they call a lot. Thing is I know what their doing. I used to get upset with them and even yell at them through the phone. But I've since decided to just have fun with them. Heck the more time I keep them on the line with me the less time they have to possibly swindle someone who might fall for their bs.

Today's calls were pretty noneventful. I played along for a bit, before breaking it to them that they called someone who isn't falling for the crap. But I did make videos, if you're friends with me on FB or twatter you can see them. But the time before this (about 3 weeks or so ago) I made one of them so mad he asked me if I had blood or "shit" running through my veins.

Have you ever gotten calls from these piss heads? Or maybe the guys who claim to be the IRS? How do you deal with them?

I tell those motherfuckers, if they call again, I'll report them to the FTC !

I get about 2 of those kinds of calls a year.

The IRS NEVER calls anyone, trust me, I just got finished with those people last year.

They only mail you, Certified to be exact.

Yeah I know the IRS doesn't call. I'm not taken in by any of the scams. But I do play with the callers on occasion to keep them from calling someone who might be taken in.

Lucky you, they are annoying as hell.

I get scam robo calls all the time from "you've won a free cruise" crooks, despite my cell being on the Do Not Call registry.

How I deal with them: I leave my voice mail full.

I also keep a digital log of all the caller ID numbers, and look them up on sites like 800notes to see if they're scams.

I get the cruise calls from time to time too. I just hang up on them.

Sounds like it's a trap.

It more then sounds like one. It is one. That's why I keep them on the line. If they are talking to me, they aren't scamming some poor person out of their money.

Oh yeah, I get the calls. If it's a female I wait for her to get through her spiel then ask her what color her panties are. My wife gets the males with her phone sex.

Oooo I like that idea. I'll have to remember it.
