Mr. Sandman bring me a dream.
Mr. Sandman bring me a dream. Make her the cutest that I've ever see. Give her two lips like roses and clover, and tell her that her lonesome nights are over. Ok that's enough singing from me for one day. So if you haven't guessed it I want to talk about dreams today. And I mean the kind you have when your sleeping. What are dreams anyways? To steal a line from a movie. "No one really knows, they are incredible mind hocus pocus." Ok so maybe that isn't the quote word for word but it's close enough. Bonus points for anyone that can guess the movie. The past few days I've had some interesting dreams, or rather had some dreams that have effected my physical or emotional self. A few nights ago I had a dream where I remember feeling intense anger about something. Now I don't remember the dream. But I remember the feeling, then when I woke up until I came out of my morning stupor (I'm not always a morning person) I remember feeling just as angry and knowing that there was no reason for it. Last night (or maybe it was this morning). I had a much more pleasant dream. Let's just say I doing an "oral performance" for a lady in the dream (I wont say who, it isn't important). When all of a sudden I realized that there was nothing in front of my mouth to lick. Then I woke up to find my mouth open like it might be if I had been doing what I was dreaming. Not to mention that my tongue wasn't exactly rested at the bottom of my mouth. I've had dreams where I remember thinking there is no way this isn't a dream but then I could reach out and actually feel the dirt on the ground or a brick wall. I've also had dreams about things that have happened. Nothing big, maybe a situation or conversation at work or with some random person. Just enough to cause a daja vue moment. Anyone think I'm weird yet? But given all of this I rarely remember my dreams even though I know we all have several a night (when we enter REM sleep). So how often do you remember your dreams? When/if you remember them what do you dream of? Have you ever had an emotion carry over from a dream? Have you ever (to your knowledge) been able to actually feel anything in a dream? |

I don't think you're wierd at all. I'm a very vivid dreamer and often can feel, taste and touch things in my dreams. I also frequently have continued dreams, where a dream will pick back up where it left off, like a movie put on pause and restarted when I'm sleeping again. I learned how to control my dreams at an early age b/c I often had panic and/or asthma attacks triggered by nightmares. I often remember my dreams and have carry over feeling or sensations. I journal most of the dreams that I remember so I can refer back to them later to see if they make any sense. I've had the same deja vu instances of having dreamed things that really happened. My index has a few of my dream posts where I talk about this stuff. Sweet Dreams sexy. Kisses, LeeAnn

I've woken up from dreams furious at my husband for something he was doing in the dream & then punched him on the arm. He always looks at me like I'm a nut & says, "But, it was your dream! Your subconscience!" To which I readily reply, "Yes, but you must have been doing something to plant that idea in my subconscience in the first place." I always have vivid dreams. I remember making out with Donny Osmond in a dream many years ago. I still remember waking up thinking about how incredibly soft his lips were. Very often physical feelings will carry over from my dreams for days.

if you are weird than so am I I remember most of my dreams, and many times I have had lingering emotions from them. I even have a post about one of them that I made into a story, It took me days to shake of the sadness from it ! I have felt hot and cold sensations and in my wet dreams it all feels real to me you may be dealig with some repressed emotions it seems when I have lingering emotions that my dream brings out the emotions I am trying to suppress but who knows sometimes a cigar is just a cigar
