Cuddling


I need to find me a shirt like that.

Do you ever crave human physical contact? I'm not necessarily talking about in a sexual way. Now I could take this a lot of ways. Casual hugs, holding hands, other casual touches. Which are all well and good. But for this post I want to focus on cuddling.

Now there is a running joke on TV sitcoms about guys not wanting to cuddle. I guess I don't get it. But then I'm a total cuddle bug. I'm all about closeness and connection. Whether if be just sitting on the couch talking or watching TV/a movie or after sex. I do enjoy cuddling. If the cuddling turns into sex great, if not that's ok too.

What brought this on was that I woke up today with a craving for that kind of closeness. Gee here I am the day before my birthday and what is on my mind? Cuddling, yep I'm an exciting one alright.

So what are your thoughts on cuddling? Do you like to cuddle? Or would you rather not? Do you like a guy that will just cuddle with you, with no expectation of sex? Have you ever met a guy that was anti-cuddling?

 I love to cuddle. Love to spoon. Love holding hands. But sometimes just want my space.

Used to have a little dachshund that would sleep in the bed with us. We had a big King-sized mattress & so we'd usually have plenty of room to spread out. But our little Oscar wasn't happy. He'd get up & lay next to my husband for a bit, then move over to lay by me for a bit. Finally he would stretch himself across the middle so his butt would be pressed against one of us & his nose against the other. Then he would let out a huge sigh & go into a blissful sleep.

When I'm with someone that makes me feel like that I'm just happy when I'm touching them in some way. Even if it's just hands brushing against each other.

You know this will sound weird. But for all the times I've heard of it. I have no idea what spooning is. But sometimes everyone wants their space. But in general I'm more then happy to spend time cuddling.

 Ahhh, spooning is when you lay in the bed and your bodies are all cupped together. Usually you are both laying on your side for this. Gives the effect of two spoons being stacked together.

It is a very nice position for cold winter nights.
