This story i write for my german friend...you know who you are...
I walk into the sauna tih nothing but a towel covering me...I notice you sitting in the corner...but i don't care this steam feels to heavenly on my body...

I saw my first Northern Lights of the season tonight...
Nothin too spectacular...but enough to lift my spirits and remind me of one of the reasons i stay in the north...
Having grown up in Vancouver i never experienced them except for the ocassional ghostly shadow in the sky...
The winter i moved up her my sister took me for a drive in the middle of the night...we drove down an old gravel road and stopped in the middle of no where...the stars were so numerous and the Northern Lights so bright and colorful...it took my breath away and brought tears to my eyes...
I knew at that moment that i could take whatever winter threw at me if i was able to experience just a few of those magical moments during the long winter...

My friend and i were have a conversation the other day about evolution...
I believe in Darwin's theory of survival of the fittest and that we are evolving to suit the veer changing environment that we live in...
I believe that we did evolve...there is evidence found that support that...
My friend's response to that was...if we evolved from apes...why are there still apes...
I don't know if we evolved from apes...but we certainly didn't spring into being as we are now...
Sort of a point but the evidence is too strong...she believes in the whole adam and eve garden of eden...
I have always thought that if that was true then we are all victims of you know what...

I sorta go through phases with what i read...I went through a couple of months where i wasn't particularly interested in Dean Koontz...
Then he came out with the first book in the Frankentstein series...Now i'm hooked again...I have read the first two and now i am dying for thew next and final one...but it doesn't come out for a year...
His frankenstein book is about Deucalion...thats what frankenstein's monster calls himself...200 years after his creation...
It takes place in New orleans...which is Where Victor Helios...AKA...victor frankentsein...has relocated to...

People who have Friends With Benefits are usually the same people who have relationships, just not at the same time.
Maybe they're between lovers, or on vacation, or just want a few hours of pleasure.
Maybe, like me, they haven't found the right person yet.
If all you're doing is fucking, it's OK if your paramour's slept with half of the city, is too busy to make plans, is in another relationship, or just wouldn't make good boyfriend or girlfriend material.
Those who've never Been in a Friends with Benefits situation were probably either lucky enough to have a constant stream of steady mates, or are one of those people who can gladly go without sex for long periods of time.
As long as safety is a priority and everyone is upfront about their expectations from the start there is no harm done.
Being comfortable with your sexuality does not a slut make...

The company that i work for refers to today as super tuesday I on the other hand more affectionatley refer to it as crazy tuesday...
Thank gosh it is finally over...today was a mixture of excitment and hectic energy...
Last minute shoppers annoyed by items that are sold out and frustrated at the amount of money they need to spend...
Last minute shoppers who are glad to be rid of their for another ten months...
Regular shoppers aggrevated by the unusual lineups...
Managers and staff running around trying to make the shopping experience as stress free as possible...
I wouldn't have traded it for anything in the world...
Yet at the same time...I'm glad its over...

Mom and dad are up visiting for the week...so i probably won't be spending a whole lot of time online...
I love em dearly but i like em a lot more when they are 1000 km away...
They aren't staying with me...They are just down the street at my sisters house...I don't have room for them and she does...makes sense right...
hmmm...it'll be a long week...
