Trimming the Fat Trimming the fat Some things I've learned the last few months going through a big personal ordeal. -If your bogged down with always trying to keep friends happy, but never quite get the same back from them….maybe its time to trim the fat. -If you are an afterthought to those you hold at the front of your mind more often than not…maybe it’s time to cut the fat… -If you have spent a lot of time talking someone down off the ledge, but get the “voicemail” prompt after 1 ring….. maybe its time to shed the fat. -If they would rather stay home and be bored by themselves than getting together…maybe its time to exercise away that fat. -If you leave messages, that never get responded to.. maybes its time to sweat that fat away. This isn’t a complaining RANT. Hopefully this is the second opinion we often look for when we don’t want to listen to our own inner voice that says things we don’t’ always want to hear. Don’t feel bad that sometimes you have to let people go. Feel good that you have a VACANT spot for someone who WANTS to be there. If you get ANYTHING from this: lose the deadweight.
