do you have sex?

I've been talking to this guy for a little while. And we've been trying to meet, but it seems like something always comes up to prevent us from meeting. He works out of town and the first time we were to meet, the bad roads kept him from traveling. The next two weekends, I had out of town guests staying at my home and was unable to meet him. It sucked, but he seemed understanding.

Cut to this weekend. Mother Nature decided to bring my monthly friend for a visit, along with extra heavy cramps. Now, I don't know about you other ladies, but I don't feel sexy during this time of the month, especially with the horrible cramps. I'm talking about the kind where I lay in bed, living on Advil, curled in a ball, nearly in tears. All I can do is sleep. I tried explaining this to the guy, but he still thinks we should meet. He says he'd still be willing to have sex. I could shower, he said. I tried telling him how badly I'm hurting, but I don't think he gets it. I think he thinks I'm putting him off.

I guess I'm rambling. But my question is, would you have sex while on your period or while a woman is having her period?

I'm a big woman, so I already have body issues, without adding my having my period while naked with a man. It just doesn't turn me on. Even if I want having cramps from hell, I don't think I'd want to have sex. The first time I meet this guy, I want to be clean, fresh and feeling sexy. It's that so wrong?

I was going to rent a hotel room and make it up to him next weekend, but now he is ignoring my texts.

What do I do?

I have had on occasion sex with a friend on her period. She said it made her feel better and helped with cramps. But I think its more important how YOU feel about it.If you dont like it then dont feel pressured to do it.As far as the guy not returning texts,I think he is selfish and not very understanding. If he doesnt have the patience to be understanding then he is not worth your time.Theres plenty of men who would want to be with a great lady like you.Merry Christmas

Have you *ever* met? If not, I think it's better (and a lot safer) to just meet somewhere in public and see if you still feel the chemistry you felt from texting/emailing/IMing. With you having your period right now, just meeting for dinner, drinks, or coffee would still be a good opportunity.

I just popped in cos the title of this post was....intriguing.

Now, if I were you...I would think that this bloke isnt all that much..having explained your feelings, and your problems, he still insists?

I thought sex was a two way street...strikes me this bloke is either happy to use you to gratify himself,

or

He's looking for a notch.

I dont understand why he cant wait a week...or more..if hes interested in all of you rather than a shag.

I may, however, be entirely mistaken.

Once you start doing what you are not comfortable with there is a problem & if he doesn't understand that he is not worth your time, energy or a good sex session.
