Decatuple X ! Did you know that powdered sugar uses an X rating ? I didn't . The number of Xs is an indication of the fineness that the sugar grain is ground . Triple X powdered sugar is the most common but XXXXXXXXXX is one people use regularly also . This seems entirely appropriate to me as there's a lot for correlations between sugar and pornography if you ask me . Sugar is obscenely delicious . In my youth one of my friends loved the movie IT and talked about it all the time . I never saw it nor read the book . But since it's being re-released I was curious what it's all about so I read a synopsis . Spoiler alert I guess - for a book that came out in 1986 . Apparently the monster is your standard deep astral entity that takes a bunch of other forms not just that of Pennywide the Dancing Clown , to do the usual feeding on humanity . As I was reading the synopsis I came across this gem ; "After the battle, the Losers get lost in the sewers until Beverly has sex with all the boys to bring unity back to the group" Excuse me ? I've never been much of a Steven King fan , but seriously what the fuck ? You have one female character and her contribution is that when they get lost she organizes a morale boosting gang bang ? I feel like in a lot of ways that just kind of encapsulates our whole deal right there . Of course I admit I never read the book , perhaps there's some deeper context here that I'm missing that paints this in a less horrible light . But I doubt it . However if you're thinking about organizing a gang - this is a good example of why you should include one woman . If you get lost you can call fuck her and then feel better about your group dynamic . Maybe I should bring up this team building technique in my next work meeting . I mean Steven King is pretty well respected right , maybe it's worth a try . Now time for 40deuce's Poker Corner. Or should I said "poke HER corner" ?! No , I should not . I got into the poker craze of a decade or so ago but once the great state of Iowa decided that online gambling was not cool I drifted away from it - a once weekly game wasn't enough to keep my interest and playing at casinos has a limited appeal . Since I started my new job though I've gotten together with the old gang a few times to play some cards . Everyone kind of plays how I thought . The dude I thought would be decent is , the dude I thought would suck but would think he was great is , the dude I thought would be reckless and try to bluff all the time is ; but there was one big surprise . There's a dude who super analytic and over-researches everything so I thought he would be pretty good at playing the odds , but he's a terrible poker player . He's way too cautious with his good hands and way too aggressive with his shitty hands - he's just kind in for a few chips on every hand . It's perplexing how someone normally so logical can play so poorly at what is essentially just a math-off . Just goes to show . . . . you know . . . . whatever it shows you .  Have you ever checked out what soda looks like without the caramel coloring ? I'm not sure why they bother , it looks kind of cool to me . It seems more marketable to me than a black drink . Although I suppose people are used to drinking coffee which is black so maybe that was there thinking . If you were on a first date with a dude and he ordered a virgin strawberry daiquiri would that be the end of that ? I guess you'd probably assume he was a alcoholic rather than a nancy boy which is probably also a dealbreaker . Actually I suppose you'd probably assume he was an alcoholic AND a nancy boy . A bunch of fitness apps online tell me that a virgin strawberry daiquiri has no sugar in it but that cannot be right - they must mean no added sugar right ? Which also doesn't seem plausible . I mean a cup of pureed strawberries alone has 12-18 grams of sugar . The other day I watched Peta Jensen get in the shower in a cheerleading uniform and at first I thought this was silly but then I realized it makes sense - that way you can wash the uniform at the same time . I mean you're not going to run the washing machine just for one uniform . But the whole thing fell apart when the coach got into the shower fully clothed (at first) with her because you can't wash normal clothes that way . Also he didn't take his socks off . Which is annoying in any case - but sex with WET socks on ? Fuck you sir . Fuck you . Maybe the fancy Nancy boy would rather dish with the girl than fuck the dish. There have been a few films that have been given an X rating due to violence. I have never read the book either, but perhaps that was the thinking with the Smurfs. The girl looking at the other girl's hand has an advantage. Crosswords increase your vocabulary. Cross words increase your blood pressure.
