I'm sure I will get flack for it, "this is a sex site, not a relationship site" (though HELLO.. sex is a form of relationship... but back on topic)... plus "Men don't read that much" true in general on this site and others as I've heard. But... in the off chance anybody does read it there is new information.

"My Ideal"

Be of compassionate heart. Do not hate. Be able and willing to discuss varied topics and ideas. Be adventurous of the "lets explore the world" variety. Know who and what you are, and what you are seeking. Be honest about it. Actually, just be honest, period. Be confident but not arrogant. Be financially stable, not afraid of hard work, and have a safety net and backup plan in case things change. I truly believe love trumps money, but I've been hurt too many times from this very issue. Know how to play, and rejoice in a loved one playing. Be kind to animals. Help those less fortunate when you can. Strive to be a positive change in the world, no matter how small. Love reading. Be warrior enough to fight for and defend those you love, and secure enough in self to share emotions and fears with those same loved ones. Trust and be Trustworthy. Be a relationship builder. Be open to giving and receiving love.

I seek a "daylight relationship". One willing and eager to be seen in the light of day, as well as dark of night. No hiding in shadows. One to rejoice in.

One that somebody else is able and willing to share in the rejoicing.

In the meantime: I much appreciate those whom I love and love me in return, whether they are long abiding friends, flirtationships, long distance cyber lovers, or whatever sort of relationship we might have. In at least this way I am poly... polyamorous. Many loves. And able to love without being hurt.

 Actually I will probably take all that down from my profile. Instead: put it on my door. A reminder to myself of how to be in the world... as well as a checklist of what to look for in others. Thus I'm not giving unscrupulous people a guide map to "me".

 you should take your own advice,i am a man and tend to read alot.not just ignorant comments online,to say that men don't read much is like saying all women are terrible drivers,sorry danica patrick and all other women out there just making a point on lumping people together

Take my own advice? I do. Every person I contact: I read their profiles first. Most messages I reply to: I read their profiles first. Thankfully MOST men that send me emails actually do read profiles, and prove it. By what I've heard that's highly unusual. There have even been men on this site who've chosen to create temporary fake female profiles to prove "your complaints are invalid" and... came back apologizing.

I don't need that anymore. I became friends with GPS Navigator

I do need to buy a non-google-maps map source though as 2 of the last 3x I've been lost have been directly due to relying solely upon the site and tiny details left out on the driving instructions. Tacoma was entirely my own fault. I should have known better than driving there.

Most men on here DO NOT READ,.. by CHOICE.
I can state that as a fact, because my own profile states,.. "SPECIFICALLY".. that I am not gay, and that swinging dicks need not apply. I prefer WOMEN only.
Yet EVERY DAY I get flirts and requests from men. So there you have it. She's right. The men DON'T read. Facts are facts.

 I read the profile, and then go to full web mode to read the q and a and maybe the blog. How the hell can a fat old fool get interest without proving he is interested?
