My city

Then (any normal sunny day) and... this afternoon.

Everyone is being told to stay indoors unless they absolutely must be outside. My dad said the smoke is much worse here in Spokane than it is where he lives right by one of the fires.

Goodnight all

The fires are far enough away from me... though technically it's a tinderbox everywhere. High Fire Danger signs are up all along the freeway. HOpefully with them allowing private citizens to help with the fires and all the help from other states and countries the fires will finally stop.

The south side of Glacier was closed by the fires, and the whole north Flathead Valley looks that bad. A little rain last night, but still very hazy.

I heard today that they closed the North Fork and National Forest too (didn't hear WHICH National Forest)

Hope her and all your family on this side of the country are safe.

I thought that yesterday was going to be a smoke free day here because it was clear when I got up. But around 11am the wind started and you could see the smoke blowing in from the north. Couple of hours later and we were socked in .... again.

This morning .... still smoky.

Hope they get all the fires under control and OUT soon. Glad you're doing okay.

Today was GLORIOUS!
I got to sit and visit with my mom and ex step dad (we picked a bunch of apples off his tree) and watched honeybees visiting all the weeds in his grass.

And breathe relatively clean air. Plus the bonus of wind shifting and giving firefighters a helping hand.

I have not heard anything about the North Fork Flathead River being closed off, nor any of the forests other than the affected areas, which are in Kootenai and Flathead NFs.

I heard the North Fork of the Cd'A River... but I didn't research it. I just figure "It's a drought, wildfires popping up everywhere - stay out of the woods" seems logical enough.

OH WOW! I have been watching the news about the fires out west. But, they did not talk about the smoke in the cities.

Cum to my blog and respond. Have a great kissing fun time.

As a neighbor pointed out: Fires in the mountains. We're in the valleys. Though I did read that all the smoke plus the wind turned is helping the fire fighting efforts. Smoke blocks the oxygen flames need to survive.
