Mindfulness

I just read this on a site talking about "Levels of Tantra" and wanted to share it:

Mindfulness

Be Present.

In all you do.

Be aware of the moment.

Your breath, your partner's breath.

Where bodies are touching.

Your tips of your fingers as they travel and explore.

Define no body part.

Have no goals.

Let your thoughts come and go.

Relax.

Do nothing. Don't try to please. Don't worry about being pleased.

Let the unfolding happen.

Be Present.

I've been there in several of these descriptions...at one time or another. But your reply to Steve's comment, where you say it's difficult to turn the mind off? IMPOSSIBLE for me Unfortunately (at times) for me, my mind has a mind of its own and I have no control over it Shutting it off is not an option

Everyone is on a different plane of intelligence. Some people's plane has not taken off yet!!

Like I said... sometimes "accidental-like". On purpose doesn't work for me either.

The interesting thing about mindfulness is that it's also mindlessness. Mind disappears in union.

Age cannot wither her, nor custom stale
Her infinite variety. Other women cloy
The appetites they feed, but she makes hungry
Where most she satisfies. For vilest things
Become themselves in her, that the holy priests
Bless her when she is riggish. ~~ from Antony & Cleopatra

I'm so very terrible at turning my brain off. Even then.

All that sounds so much easier to say than to do. I am absolutely horrible at doing nothing.

I know. I get all caught up in trying to please and be pleased and start to stress and over think and then it just messes everything up.
