Listening to Your Heartbeat

The candles lit, I glance into the mirror at the head of the bed and smile at your reflection as you walk up behind me.

Turning, I cup your cheek with my right hand, and lean up to press forehead and nose lightly against yours, just smiling and breathing, enjoying your presence. A few moments later you cup my face between your hands, move back to look deep into my eyes, then lean down to kiss me. Slow, sensual... my fingers slide into your hair and you deepen the kiss. I whimper softly as your tongue brushes the tip of mine, and moan as you pull me in against you.

The fingers of your left hand slide through my hair as your right hand slides over my shoulder and down my back to press me close. With a small nibble to my lower lip, you turn my head and press it against your chest. I hear your heart beating.

Your chin resting atop my head, you stall my attempts at kissing and caressing in return.

"Shhhh!" you whisper, as you press my arms against your sides. "We have all night. Just breathe and let me hold you."

(Yeah... Start of Fantasy A ran into DSK doesn't feel in the proper mindset to sit and actually write so changes the ending to perfectly realistic Fantasy B. Which if reality would bring a later Fantasy C, and probably D and E. But in the meantime... well, it seems the fantasies are suck inside my head).

Interestingly, while I've done similar with lovers in relationship before, it was an "incidentally". For some reason I have one friend for whom my image and desire is so "right" that it becomes a thing unto itself. If that makes any sense.
