Long road home Travelling home tonight... I was watching the road. Paying attention to surroundings as one should when driving. My mind focused on the drive as it should be. When suddenly I felt you there. Your ghostly kisses, whisper soft against my ear. Memory flooded me. For the briefest moment the world ceased to exist as i knew it. Your kiss, my ear... co-joined they were the center of the universe. nothing else mattered but the sweet tender caress of your lips. The warmth of your breath. The gentle tracing of your tongue before the press of your lips silently imparted the wisdom of the ages, causing ear, body and soul to tremble. That whisper soft caress, a moment in time... the sweetest of moments like a passing breeze, here one moment, then gone... so i sigh, and shiver, as my world rights itself again. The road stretches before me, the night surrounds me. I drive on alone, missing you. |

Damn, I'm ghost, I didn't even know I was dead. Why the hell didn't someone tell me, this certainly puts a crimp in my future plans.

I was listening to The Sisters of Mercy- "Under the Gun" while reading this post... a fitting soundtrack. As for your comment on my music post: Your ecclectic choice of music is just as much a definition of who you are as if you only listened to one band. My point was this: we don't fit ourselves to our music, we fit our music to ourseleves, and we don't listen to things that don't in some way hold relevance to our lives. Well, thanks for the post.

letshavefun: have you ever had that happen? Totally engrossed in something else, and suddenly your body itself remembers a caress, a touch, a kiss? and so grabs all your concentration for a moment as your mind is pulled back into memory... sighhhh....
