Today's my birthday

Oh!! and belated Happy Birthday to ShyKnight2007 (his was yesterday)

I'm so happy And as soon as I finish a newsletter I planned to have finished LAST weekend... I'm out the door to spend the day celebrating.

Special chocolate truffle from a shop, and catch up with the owner... she was willing to teach me a few months ago, and if she's still willing I'll arrange a time to learn.

Lunch at an Argentina Cafe or some restaurant I've never been to before.

Explore a bit of downtown, then spend the afternoon at the Museum. Maybe go hiking.

Free Birthday steak dinner at a local Sports Bar.

Then: Dancing... Salsa and Argentina Tango. *IF* I can find a local venue still doing dancing. (Big *IF*. Dancing in Spokane seems to be dropping faster than the economy. Anybody have suggestions of places still operating? The one place I know for sure cancelled their Saturday dances and combined them with Friday. But I want tonight).

I'm also planning on spending some time in meditation and contemplation and just relaxing.

And on a happy note: I should have my internet back on the 20th!!

No date, no girl friends... I just wandered around by myself. Sadly with the lilac parade and all that going on, I had to cancel all my "downtown" plans, and apparently all the dancing venues (at least ones I'd be interested in) decided to not open for the night.

It was still a decent birthday. Visited a couple friends, tried a new restaurant.
